This place is awesome! Mike was very helpful and gave me a great tour of their facilities. The basketball gym is great and always has good games going. There are lots of helpful staff and that is unique to this LA Fitness, other places in the cities don't take care of their members like this place does!

Mike has provide excellent service while trying to figure out an emailing issue with LA Fitness 7 days pass. His patient was commendable and prompt me to write this review. He was very helpful and we wanted to ensure he receives recognition for his efforts.

As soon as I walked in kallie greeted me an amazing attitude. She had the most amazing smile on her face and I really felt welcomed here and if I ever see her again in this La I’ll make sure to bring her favorite coffe just to make her day. Mike had the most coolest beard with the biggest muscles I’ve ever seen, as he greeted me it felt like he was apart of the fam. I really hope you give these two a raise for there work and I will 100% be coming back.

My friend, possessing a 7-day pass (having utilized only 1 day at the aforementioned branch), and I, a full-year paid member, were subjected to an unexpectedly prolonged and discommoding entrance process on this occasion. Previous visits were seamless, simply involving form completion and entry, however, on this particular day, we were informed that assistance from a sales representative was requisite for my friend's pass. Regrettably, the engagement with the staff, notably with the individual identifying himself as Mike, the store and district manager, was noticeably less than professional and contradicted the positive experiences I previously had at your St. Louis Park location. Despite our explicit expression of intent to discuss membership options post-workout, Mike persistently and insistently pressed us to engage in a sales conversation at that moment, which significantly delayed our entry. It is worth noting that I had explained my status as a retired veteran with anxiety issues, emphasizing our desire to commence our workout due to my limited time and to mitigate my increasing anxiety. What exacerbated the situation was Mike's subsequent demeanor and interactions, which I perceived as both condescending and dismissive, particularly when he said, “you good,” in what seemed to be a diminutive manner. Furthermore, my friend experienced an unduly prolonged discussion, which could be categorized as an interview, with another sales associate even after I had commenced my workout, a situation I found to be unnecessarily elongated and disruptive. I understand that every business strives to expand its membership and sales; however, the approach taken by Mike and his team was unbecoming, unprofessional, and not customer-oriented. His inability to provide a business card or further contact for a higher-level manager when requested was also deeply concerning and contradicted the standard transparency and accountability I anticipate in professional settings. I kindly request that this matter be investigated and addressed appropriately to prevent future similar occurrences. As a proud member, veteran, and individual of Latino descent, it is pivotal for me to convey that such an experience significantly undermines my comfort and trust in La Fitness. Moreover, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to formally document this unsatisfactory experience, but I am hopeful that addressing this matter internally within Richfield LA Fitness will facilitate a resolution and prevent any future patrons from experiencing similar discontent. I joined LA Fitness a few years back and did not care for this branch then. It has improved a lot over the last year. Friendlier and more helpful front-desk staff, the bathrooms and locker rooms are clean. There is always equipment available when I need it. It has also been cooler inside during the summer, making it easier to work out. For what I pay a month, it's worth it.
